Lights during Christmas in the City on the downtown waterfront.

It’s past Halloween, turning cold and school is almost out. You know what that means – CHRISTMAS! There’s always something in the air during the holiday season that puts people in the spirit. I love putting up decorations and shopping, but I also love going to Christmas-themed events. On November 27, the ice skating rink will open in Market Square! I love to go to this Holidays On Ice event each year with my friends. This rink is definitely for all ages and skill level and no matter what; it’s a great way to spend a crisp, winter day. Knoxville also becomes a Christmas Palace on November 27. Along with the rink, there will be cookie decorating and Christmas lights will be everywhere. It will be picture perfect; so don’t forget your camera! It’s hard to have a celebration without music, so there will be performers on the Market Square stage. Who’s excited? I am! I am!
